How does outsourced FP&A actually work?
Clear answers about scope, inputs, ownership, review, and recurring delivery—before we ask anyone to commit.
Do you replace our CFO or controller?
No. We provide agreed FP&A execution and analysis. Your leadership team remains responsible for business decisions and approvals. We can complement an internal finance team.
Can you prepare monthly reporting and forecasts?
Yes. We can scope management reporting, variance analysis, rolling forecasts, budgets, and other agreed recurring FP&A outputs.
Do we have to buy a full-service package?
No. Engagements can be recurring, fractional, or project based. Deliverables and frequency are agreed before work begins.
What information do you need?
Typically financial actuals, an approved plan, relevant KPIs and business-driver definitions, access to authorized exports, and named reviewers. We agree on secure access and minimum necessary data.
How quickly will we receive our first deliverable?
Timing depends on data quality, scope, business complexity, and review cycles. We establish a realistic milestone plan during onboarding rather than promise a universal turnaround.
How is pricing structured?
Pricing is scoped around deliverables, complexity, capacity, and cadence. We discuss the requirements and provide commercial terms before work begins.
Who reviews the analysis?
We agree on named contacts, source-data owners, assumption approvals, and a sign-off path. Outputs are reviewed before they are treated as final.
Can a project become recurring support?
Yes, where appropriate. A forecast rebuild, reporting redesign, or model implementation can transition into a separately scoped ongoing delivery arrangement.
