A predictable start. Clear data requests. No mystery handoffs.
Outsourced FP&A works when inputs, ownership, and review expectations are explicit. Our onboarding framework establishes what we will produce, what we need from your team, and how results move from preparation to approval.
Discuss your FP&A needs ↗Built around clear deliverables and responsibilities
01 — Discovery and scope
Identify the business decisions, reporting audience, required deliverables, frequency, source systems, points of contact, and current process limitations. Agree on responsibilities and a written scope.
02 — Data and access readiness
Create a minimum data request list—financial actuals, budget/forecast baselines, operating drivers, KPI definitions, and relevant system extracts. Agree on approved access methods, permissions, and data handling; don’t send sensitive data through an unsecured web form.
03 — Baseline and first production cycle
Reconcile definitions and source data, document assumptions, identify gaps, and prepare the first agreed deliverable. Review the output with the designated business and finance owners before treating it as final.
04 — Recurring delivery and review
Operate the agreed reporting calendar with named input owners, checkpoints, a review and sign-off step, change tracking, and escalation for missing or materially changed information.
Your management team retains business decisions and approval of assumptions. Our exact responsibilities and reporting timetable are defined in the agreed engagement scope.
